The crash occurred at about 12:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 on the I-287 northbound ramp to southbound Exit 2 in Edison, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.
All lanes were closed for a couple of hours, 511nj.org reported.
The interstate's exit ramp to Route 27 was expected to remain closed until at least 6:30 p.m. for the truck's removal and cleanup, according to a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police.
No one was injured, he said.
